2020 was something else. Even so, we accomplished a lot as a small creative studio that’s worth celebrating. We’d like to share with you some of our best moments from the year.

We worked on some brand new public health campaigns, including Stronger, a national misinformation campaign. We went through a branding transformation, twice.

And created multiple new video series from scratch.

Another new campaign we branded is Pennsylvania Life Unites Us, a state-wide campaign to reduce stigma around Opioid Use Disorder.

On top of that, we built a new Story Recruiter team at the studio to find and record stories worth sharing for this campaign and a few others. Since we had to go remote this year, our story recruiters recorded nearly 100 Zoom interview stories.

All the meanwhile, Drunken Rewind hasn’t stopped — we’re only getting bigger and better. If we had to guess, Doug’s had over 200 hangovers this year.

Along with Drunken Rewind, we were able to play around with some more animation and concepts.

And if you don’t already know, we’re from Atlanta (second “t” is silent). Especially this year, we knew we had to pay homage to our city and the civil leaders it’s raised. We were able to collaborate on a mural with Power Haus Creative, a dynamic organization making waves and serving our local community via art and advocacy. Even Lil Baby noticed.

How do we get all of this done, you ask? Well, for one, we were able to relax with over 75 yoga classes (most went virtual) — a nice perk we offer our staff. Shoutout to our amazing yoga instructor, Kelley!

We also doubled in size and welcomed new video directors, project managers, designers, and more.

On top of that, we have a robust project management team. One of our goals this year was to improve our internal systems, specifically how we take on new creative requests. That led to Pit Stop Pete, process mascot that crosses all t’s and dots all i’s for us so that the creative team has everything they need to make meaningful and beautiful work. If you’re curious how he does it, keep on the lookout for a new post dedicated to our revamped creative request process.

Let’s not forget our Big Boi music video.

Or the many campaigns we’ve produced video content for, including a full documentary film addressing substance use in Martha’s Vineyard.

Or the many brands we developed. Below are just a few:

One of those rebrands includes our own.

New website and detailed rebrand journey chronicles coming soon.

Phew. We were busy. Even though 2020 was a whirlwind, we were still able to grow as a small creative studio. We even welcomed baby Rue to the team, making our animation director, Alex, a dad².

Thanks for following along in 2020! We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, but excited to leave the year behind us.
